Two nights of phones, a laptop and a few lights is a small job with a wide range, and the range is what catches people out. All three picks cover the easy end of it on one charge; the hard end takes a panel at the site or a full charge before you leave.
Buy the Anker SOLIX C1000 unless you want something lighter to carry or more headroom for a longer stay. The planner checked 58 units against a two-ended target for phones, a laptop with a monitor, and LED lights for two days (48 hours): a best case of 444 watt-hours and a worst case of 4,512 watt-hours, and 38 of them land in between and come back marked clears the best case only, all three picks among them. One unit we track, the Zendure SuperBase V6400, clears the full worst case outright and is not a pick here, because it carries no verified listing and its own spec page is only partly checked. What separates the three is weight, and what happens after the first charge.

Who this is for
You are driving to a site rather than walking to one, and you want phones, a laptop with a monitor and a few LED lights to last two nights off one battery. Nothing in this plan has a motor or a heating element in it, so there is no starting surge to size for and nothing that has to restart. The whole question is how much battery you carry and how you refill it.
If your camp also has a compressor fridge, an induction burner or a kettle in it, put your own gear through the planner first: those change both the watts and the energy, and this page does not size for them. How much battery you need
The target has two ends because none of these three loads runs flat out for the whole trip. The laptop and monitor are the biggest single item, better than half the energy at the top end, and they are on for part of the day rather than all of it. Phones and small USB devices come next, spread thinly across the full 48 hours. The lights are the smallest share of the three and only earn their keep after dark.
Multiply each load by the hours it is actually drawing and you get 444 watt-hours at the best case and 4,512 at the worst. That is roughly a tenfold spread, and the difference is not which gear you own but how you use it. A laptop that sleeps between sessions, phones that stay topped off and lights that go on for the evening sit near the bottom. A laptop running all day on mains power and a lantern left burning until morning sit at the top, past what any pick here holds.
Watts never decide this page. The most these loads pull at once is 270 watts, which every station we track clears without noticing, and with no motor in the plan there is no surge to clear either. So we size on energy and we size on the harder end, which is why 39 of the 58 units are workable at all and all three picks come back marked clears the best case only rather than done.

The Anker SOLIX C1000 is the default here because it is the only pick that can grow. Its maker documents a named add-on, the Anker SOLIX BP1000 Expansion Battery, so a longer trip later means a second pack rather than a second station, and at $560 it costs about what the lighter Jackery does. On weight it sits in the middle, at 12.9 kg: more than the Explorer 1000 v2 asks you to lift, a little over half what the DELTA 2 Max does. It suits someone who camps out of a car a few times a year and would rather buy once.
Against the worst case it is 3,614 Wh short: about 6.0 hours of full sun at its 600 W solar input, or roughly 18 hours from one 200 W panel, and real panels deliver less than their rating.

Living with it
Charging it is the part testers praise. A reviewer who ran one through six months of camping and overlanding trips found the fast wall charge genuinely useful in the field rather than a marketing number, and it is a toggle in the Anker app rather than a separate charger. A second hands-on tester clocked the ordinary wall charge noticeably slower than the fast one, which is the figure to plan around if you forget to switch fast charging on the night before. It will also charge while it powers your gear, in what Anker calls Bypass Mode.
Anker publishes no idle draw anywhere we could find, not on its own pages, not in the manual, not in the support articles, so what you can plan on instead is the timers. Left with its outputs off and nothing drawing, the unit powers itself down after half a day, and the AC outlets switch themselves off if no plug is detected for a quarter of an hour. Both are adjustable in the app, which talks over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and carries firmware updates. It will not charge below freezing, though it keeps discharging in cold well past where the other two stop, and we captured no light on it.
Testers named the fan as its one real annoyance, and it shows up at maximum sustained draw, which this plan never approaches; in a tent you should not hear it. Two smaller gripes are worth knowing first: there is no way to stop the charge short of full to spare the cells, and there is no wireless charging pad on top, which some rivals have. Hands-on testing also put the real usable capacity at roughly eighty-five percent of the number on the box, which is what the card above already plans on. Five-year warranty.

What you give up
Weight, mostly, and on this page weight counts for more than anywhere else. The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 holds a battery the same size for about the same money and is easier to carry; it is not the pick because Jackery says plainly that no expansion battery exists for it, so it can never become more than what you bought. If you know your camping list will never grow, buy the lighter one instead.

The Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 is the one to carry. At 10.8 kg it is the lightest of the three, it holds a battery the same size as the C1000's, and at $559 it costs about the same. What it gives up is any future: Jackery states plainly that an expansion battery is not supported, so its capacity is fixed on the day you buy. It suits someone whose kit list is settled, and who would rather feel the difference on every walk from the car to the pitch.
Against the worst case it is 3,602 Wh short: about 9.0 hours of full sun at its 400 W solar input, or roughly 18 hours from one 200 W panel, and real panels deliver less than their rating.

Living with it
Jackery's own pages do not agree on how fast it refills. The product page markets a full wall charge in about an hour using an Emergency Super Charge mode; the spec table further down that same page gives a longer standard-mode figure, and the FAQ table gives a longer one again. Two independent testers measured two different times, neither matching the other, and one warned that habitual use of the emergency mode could cost battery life. Treat the quick number as a mode you switch on deliberately before a trip, not as the normal one.
It is the only pick whose maker publishes a standby draw, and it is high enough to matter across two nights, so switch it off rather than leave it sitting on the table. The app, over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, toggles the AC and DC outputs, the auto-shutdown timer, quiet charging and battery-saving modes and the unit's own LED light, which is the only light of the three we captured. Its top USB-C port will run a laptop directly, which is worth doing, since the inverter is where the waste is. It charges while it powers devices, though one reviewer found the input rate collapses under a heavy pass-through load; nothing in this plan is heavy.
Noise is the maker's second disagreement with the field: the FAQ table quotes a whisper, while one tester measured it clearly audible, with the case noticeably warm, once output climbed well past anything this plan draws. Another called it fairly quiet next to louder rivals. It will not charge below freezing and stops discharging in cold sooner than the C1000 does. Three-year warranty, five if you buy direct from Jackery. One reviewer also reported it failed to switch over to battery in an outage test, which is a single data point and not a camping problem.

What you give up
The ceiling. There is no expansion battery for it and never will be, so a trip that outgrows it means buying a second station. It also accepts the smallest panel of the three, which is the wrong end to be short on when solar is the only refill you have. The Anker SOLIX C1000 costs about the same and can grow; that is the whole argument between the two.

EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max starts with roughly double the usable energy of the other two, so it is the one that survives a third night, or a laptop that never sleeps. It is also the one you stop carrying: at 23 kg it is a basecamp unit that lives in the car and comes out at the site. Its maker documents expansion battery ports too, though the accessory is not named on the page we captured. Buy it because the trips are getting longer, not because the pack is getting heavier.
Against the worst case it is 2,771 Wh short: about 2.8 hours of full sun at its 1,000 W solar input, or roughly 14 hours from one 200 W panel, and real panels deliver less than their rating.

Living with it
The thing to know is that it is least efficient at exactly the loads this plan makes. Independent bench testing found its inverter well off its rated sweet spot at everyday small draws, once the fixed overhead of having AC output switched on is counted in. The same tester measured a real, constant cost just for leaving AC output enabled, several times what the unit draws with it off, and told owners to switch AC off whenever nothing needs it. EcoFlow publishes no idle figure of its own and two independent testers measured very different ones, so treat any idle number you see as an approximate measurement rather than a spec.
Its own timers help: the screen sleeps after a few minutes, the unit shuts down after a couple of hours at no load with the outputs off, and the AC output switches itself off after half a day with nothing drawing. All of that is adjustable in the app, which a reviewer of nearly two years calls one of the better power-station apps, over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Both its USB-C ports will run a laptop directly and skip the inverter losses above. EcoFlow quotes a quiet fan without saying at what load or distance it was measured, and it will not charge below freezing either.
Owner reports are good and specific. An overlander who ran one daily for a year on a diesel heater, a coffee maker and Starlink calls it consistent and says it took the off-road jostling; the same owner found the USB ports would occasionally stop working until he did a factory reset, and that the car socket on his unit never worked from new, which he put down to a one-off fault. Five-year warranty. No published recall names this model, but a similarly named product was recalled, and the dossier under this pick names it.

What you give up
Weight and money, and it still does not clear the worst case. Three units we track hold more battery than any pick here, the Zendure SuperBase V4600, the Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus and the Goal Zero Yeti PRO 4000, and none of them is the pick because none carries a verified listing, with the Zendure's spec page only partly checked. EcoFlow's DELTA Pro 3 and Anker's SOLIX F3800 carry more paperwork than anything on this page, but neither fits a role on this trip.

Day two and three
If the trip runs past two nights, the refill is solar. We did not capture a 12-volt car-charging input for any of the three, so the only paths we can vouch for are a panel at the site or a wall outlet before you leave; the car socket on each of these units is an output, not a way in. Each pick's card carries a shortfall line that turns the gap into hours of panel input, and every one of those hours assumes better sun than a real morning gives you.
The three differ sharply here. EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max accepts the most panel by a wide margin, the C1000 is next, and one long-term reviewer refilled a C1000 from empty in a couple of hours of ideal sun. The Explorer 1000 v2 accepts the least, and Jackery's own marketing is worth watching on that point: a reviewer found the site advertises more solar input across six panels than the unit's DC ports actually take, which is an easy way to buy panels you cannot use. Its two input ports are wired in parallel, so they want matched panels rather than whatever you already own.
Buying it right
A search for any of these models returns bundles, sibling models and, often, the same unit under two listings at different prices. What this page can’t promise
Nothing on this page was tested by us. The specifications are the makers' own, read off their pages and manuals and cited under each pick, and where a maker's own sources contradict each other we say so rather than take the better number. Jackery's pages disagree with themselves about recharge time and fan noise, and EcoFlow's marketing page and printed manual disagree about recharge time and switchover.
The owner experience here is thinner than we would like. Forum and Reddit threads for these exact models turned up almost nothing, so what you read above comes from a handful of named hands-on review sites rather than a crowd, and it is attributed that way: one tester's finding is one tester's finding, not a consensus. And while all three makers publish an operating and a charging temperature range, none of them publishes what a cold night actually costs you in capacity.

Questions people ask
Will a portable power station really get me through two nights of camping?
Only if you plan the refill as well. The Anker SOLIX C1000, the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 and the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max all cover the best case for phones, a laptop with a monitor, and LED lights for two days (48 hours) and none of them covers the worst case. With no car input captured, the refill on the trip is solar, and the shortfall line on each card shows the panel input that implies. One unit we track, the Zendure SuperBase V6400, does clear the worst case outright, but it is not one of the picks here.
Do I need a higher-watt power station to charge phones and a laptop?
No. Every station on this page puts out far more than the 270 watts these loads ever draw at once, and with no motor in the plan there is no starting surge either, so the watt rating on the box is not what decides this. Watt-hours, the size of the battery, decide how long the charge lasts. Buy for the energy and ignore the bigger number on the front.
Can I add a second battery to one of these later?
It depends on the model. Anker SOLIX C1000's maker documents a named expansion battery, the Anker SOLIX BP1000 Expansion Battery, so you can add capacity later. EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max's maker documents expansion battery ports too, though the accessory is not named on the page we captured. Jackery Explorer 1000 v2's maker states plainly that an expansion battery is not supported, so its capacity is fixed at whatever you bought.
How do I recharge a power station at a campsite with no outlet?
Solar at the site, or a wall outlet before you leave. We did not capture a 12-volt car-charging input for any of the three, so charging from the car is not a path we can vouch for. Anker SOLIX C1000 and EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max both publish an AC recharge rating for topping up before you go, while Jackery's own pages disagree about how long its wall charge takes. Arrive full and lean on a panel between the two nights.
Does a cold night hurt a power station's battery?
It can, and the limit that bites first is charging rather than running. All three picks use LiFePO4 cells, all three publish a charging range that stops at freezing, and the C1000 keeps discharging in cold well below where the other two stop. Check the range for your exact model before a cold trip, since none of these makers publishes how much capacity a cold night actually costs.
