EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max

Do not confuse this with a recalled product

EcoFlow DELTA Max (2000) (model EFD310) was recalled on 2025-10-09 — The power stations may overheat and ignite, posing a risk of serious burn injury and fire.

'DELTA Max 2000' and 'DELTA 2 Max' are separate products whose names differ only by word order. An owner searching for one can easily read guidance written for the other. This page must display the distinction and the recall route before any other content.

How to tell them apart: Turn the unit over. The recalled product has 'EFD310' and 'EcoFlow DELTA Max (2000)' on the underside nameplate. If your nameplate reads that, you have the recalled model, not the DELTA 2 Max described on this page.

If you have the recalled unit: Stop using the recalled power station immediately and contact EcoFlow for a free firmware-update repair. Read the CPSC notice.

The short answer

This is a 2,048Wh battery with 2,400W of output, which means it stores about 1,741 watt-hours you can actually use and can run anything drawing up to 2,400 watts at once.

It runs indoors and makes no fumes. Of the 15 household loads we track, it can handle 14. It would keep a refrigerator going for 2.5–17.4 hours.

Check you have the right model

EcoFlow sells other models that can be mistaken for this one:

  • EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max (2048Wh). same battery size and same output as this one.
  • EcoFlow DELTA 2 (EFD330) — they differ by a single word: MAX against EFD330. peak output 2,700W instead of 4,800W.

Read the full model name off the label on the unit itself, not off the box or the listing. The figures on this page apply only to the exact name in the heading above.

What owners report, from public threads and long-term reviews; not our own testing.

  • An overlander who ran the unit daily for a full year to power a diesel heater, coffee maker, and Starlink calls it a reliable, consistent part of his kit that held up to off-road jostling.4wdtalk.com
  • The same one-year owner also reported the USB output ports occasionally stopped working, but the issue was resolved with a factory reset each time.4wdtalk.com
  • Independent bench testing found the AC inverter runs noticeably less efficiently at everyday household loads (150-350W) than at its rated sweet spot, estimating real-world efficiency around 77% at 200W once idle overhead is factored in.windinmyface.com
  • That same tester measured roughly 23W of draw just from leaving AC output switched on (versus about 5W with AC output off) and recommended owners switch off AC output when it's not actively needed to avoid unnecessary overnight battery drain.windinmyface.com
  • A reviewer using the unit for nearly two years reports the companion app is one of the better power-station apps for remote Bluetooth/Wi-Fi monitoring, and that the unit still delivers its full rated 2,400W output without dropouts.thesolarlab.com
  • At least one long-term owner reported the USB output ports randomly shutting off during use, requiring a factory reset to restore normal operation.4wdtalk.com
  • The same owner said the 12V car outlet port never worked on his unit from new, which he suspected was an isolated manufacturing defect rather than a design-wide flaw.4wdtalk.com
  • Independent efficiency testing found a meaningful fixed power overhead (roughly 23W) whenever AC output is left enabled, plus lower-than-expected conversion efficiency at light loads (~77% at 200W) — a real cost for anyone running small everyday loads rather than near the unit's rated output.windinmyface.com

We do not test units ourselves. These are figures published by testers who did, with the maker’s claim beside them where the tester gave it.

Recall screen

No recall names this model — but a similarly named product was recalled

CPSC recall 26010 (2025-10-09) recalls the EcoFlow 'DELTA Max (2000)', model EFD310, for an overheating/fire hazard. That is a DIFFERENT product from the DELTA 2 Max in this corpus. The recalled unit is identified by 'EFD310' and 'EcoFlow DELTA Max (2000)' printed on the nameplate on the underside.

This check cannot clear your own unit. Most recalls cover only certain serial numbers. Read the model and serial number off the label on the unit itself, then check the maker's recall page before you use it, sell it, or buy it.

Manufacturer recall lookup

How we know the screen was not simply blind

Finding nothing only means something if the search could have found something. So we searched the same records for this brand and got 1 recall. That proves the screen can see this brand, so finding nothing for this model is a real result.
