You size a generator by watts and fuel, not battery size. Each page shows the power it makes on each fuel, how long it runs at half load, and which outlets it has. The outlets decide whether it can run a 240-volt well pump or only normal 120-volt appliances.

Fuel-burning generators produce carbon monoxide: no color, no smell, lethal at concentrations you cannot detect. Never run one indoors, in a garage, or near a window, door or vent — an open garage door does not make a garage safe. Read the safety boundaries.
