The arrangement

It does not affect which products the planner recommends: rankings come from the sizing rules on our methodology page, and a product with unresolved safety identity is never ranked or linked regardless of commission.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. A commission is paid by the retailer out of their margin; it is not added to your price.

The rules that protect the recommendation

Commercial interest and the planner's output are separated by design, not by good intentions:

• Rankings come from the sizing rules published on the methodology page. Nothing in the planner reads price, commission or whether a product has a link at all.
• A product with unresolved safety or recall identity is never ranked and never linked, however well it would sell. See the recall screen.
• We link only to a listing whose own title matches the exact base unit our specifications describe. Bundles, sibling models and refurbished listings are rejected, and we publish the rejections with the reason on each product page.
• Where we cannot confirm an exact listing, we publish no link rather than an approximate one.
• Products we could not verify are still shown, marked as unverified, rather than quietly dropped.

What a commission never buys

• A higher position in a planner result.
• Removal of a recall reference, a safety boundary, or a stated evidence gap.
• A place on this site.
