The short answer
A well pump uses about 700–2,000 watts while running , and needs up to 6,000 watts for a split second when it starts. Over 24 hours it uses roughly 336–7,200 watt-hours.

The numbers behind that
A well pump only runs while refilling the pressure tank, so total energy is modest, but the starting surge is the largest in a typical home.
What it draws while it is actually on.
The momentary surge when a motor or compressor kicks in. Undersized systems fail here, not on running watts.
How much of the hour it is actually drawing power. This is what turns running watts into energy.
Multiply the battery capacity you are considering by roughly 0.85 to compare like with like.
Wired into the building
This is connected to your house wiring, not an outlet. Powering it from a portable source needs a transfer switch or an inlet installed by a licensed electrician. Never run a cord from a generator into an outlet to feed a circuit: backfeeding can kill line workers and start fires.
Safety
Well pumps are hardwired and frequently 240V. This is professional-installation territory, and a 120V-only power station is not a candidate regardless of its watt-hour rating.
Check this yourself
Read the pump nameplate for horsepower and voltage. Many residential well pumps are 240V, which most portable power stations cannot supply at all.
