Which power station runs a ResMed AirSense 10, and for how long?
Buy the BLUETTI AC180: about 6.4 nights with the humidifier off, about 3.6 with it on. That is a ResMed AirSense 10 on its AC outlet, 8 hours a night, counting the power the station uses just to stay on.

Why it: the cheapest station on Amazon that runs a full night with the heated humidifier on (ranked by cost per night). For the most nights in the 1 kWh class, the Anker SOLIX C1000 uses the least power to stay on: about 9.1 nights with the humidifier off.

Nights at your pressure
ResMed measured how much power an AirSense 10 takes from a 12 V battery at each pressure, with and without the humidifier (ResMed battery guide). We turned each figure into nights on the BLUETTI AC180’s 12 V car port, through ResMed’s DC converter. Find your pressure in your machine’s settings or your sleep report.

Watts = ResMed’s amps × 12 V, measured at the battery, so the converter’s loss is inside them. Nights count the station’s own 12 V standby draw (6.5 W, estimated: no tester measured it on this unit). ResMed gives no room temperature; a cold room makes the humidifier work harder.
How many watts does a ResMed AirSense 10 use?
Those are ResMed’s own figures at its test settings: AutoSet 8–15 cm H2O, humidity 6, tube at 28 °C (ResMed, Power consumption of Air10 devices (1018673/1)). From a 12 V battery through ResMed’s converter it takes 8.4–19.9 W with the humidifier off and up to 67.3 W with the humidifier at 8 and the heated tube at 30 °C, depending on pressure (table above).
The 12 V route: ResMed’s DC converter
ResMed recommends a DC converter over an inverter for running its machines from a battery. For the AirSense 10 that is the ResMed Air10 DC/DC converter 90W, part number 37297. It cost $95 at CPAP.com on October 17, 2026. The humidifier works on it, but ResMed warns it “will drain the battery more quickly” (ResMed converter guide).
Not on Amazon as the ResMed part. Amazon’s results were third-party copies when we looked, so we link none. Buy it from a CPAP supplier.
Why the simple math says more nights
The simple math divides the battery by the machine’s watts: 1,152 Wh ÷ (7 W × 8 h) = 20 nights on the BLUETTI AC180. Two things cut that:
- The inverter loses about 10% turning battery power into wall power.
- The station uses power just being on: 13.8 to 14 W, measured by Jasonoid (YouTube) (June 14, 2023) and Outdoor Life (2024-02).
So the battery feeds 7 ÷ 0.9 + 14 = 21.8 W and lasts 6.4 nights. The 12 V port has no inverter: about 10 nights at the same watts.
How to set it up for the night
- Charge it to 100%. On a Jackery, turn Battery Saving Mode off. Owners say it stops at 85% (owner report).
- Turn off the power-saving timer. A Jackery ships with Energy Saving Mode on: at 25 W or less on AC it turns the outlets off after 12 hours. Hold the AC and main power buttons until its icon goes away (Jackery manual). Other brands have a similar setting.
- Use the 12 V car port if you can, with ResMed’s Air10 DC converter (part 37297). It skips the inverter. Test it first.
- Test one full night at home before you need it. Note the percent left in the morning.
Ask your equipment supplier or doctor before you rely on a power station overnight.
Questions people ask
What size power station do I need for a ResMed AirSense 10?
For one 8-hour night with the humidifier on (22 W), almost any station of 500 Wh or more. The BLUETTI AC180 runs it about 3.6 nights with the humidifier on and 6.4 with it off, counting the power the station uses to stay on.
How many watts does a ResMed AirSense 10 use?
ResMed says 7 W with the humidifier off, 22 W with it on, and 34 W with the heated tube too. From a 12 V battery through its DC converter, 11.2 W at 10 cm H2O with no humidifier.
Can I run an AirSense 10 on a power station's 12 V port?
Yes, with ResMed's DC converter (part 37297, about $95). It skips the inverter, so it lasts longer: about 7.9 nights on the BLUETTI AC180 at 10 cm H2O with the humidifier off.
Does the humidifier work on battery power?
Yes. ResMed's DC converter runs the humidifier and heated tube, but they use most of the power. Turning the humidifier off more than doubles the nights.
